TVM is not just ‘a market’, we are a collaborative, creative community of small businesses, designers, artists, creatives, foodies, musicians, culture seekers and lovers of good vibes.

Some of Australia's most successful and well known designers started out at TVM, including Kivari, Peony Swimwear, Molly & Polly and Grace Bijoux.  The Village Markets aims to provide a platform for emerging designers and artists, talented musicians and photographers. Because of our online reach (120,000+ and growing!) and our market day environment, TVM stall holders are regularly approached by magazines, buyers, stockists and boutique owners - so if you're looking for a way to get your small business out there while also connecting with your customers in a personal and tangible form, then TVM is for you.

The Village Markets is adapting to current event restrictions with digital events, including going online with our first-ever Insta Market in March 2020, gaining over 1M impressions and a reach of 90K.
All small  businesses are welcome to apply to join our virtual community and flagship events for when we restart and can do so here.

"TVM was where I first started Kivari, selling small leather bohemian styled leather wallets and bags. TVM allowed me to showcase my dreams and passions to the target market which in return rapidly grew my business. In 2015 we opened a Boutique in Freshwater located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches & Kivari is now stocked in more than 100 retail outlets world wide. TVM was a vital stepping stone to where I am now and needless to say I have definitely never looked back.
It’s an amazing platform run by two exceptionally talented, organised and professional ladies (Sarah & Marissa)
I can’t thank you both enough for starting what I consider the best designer market in Australia!"
Kirstin Keysers, KIVARI.

"TVM has been vital for the growth of my boutique swimwear brand. In the initial stages, it allowed me to present my designs to the local market where people could come into my stall, touch the swimwear, see the prints, feel the luxurious fabrics and absorb the overall vibe of the brand. As a predominantly online label, my TVM stall brings peony to life and gives me the opportunity to engage with my customers on a personal level. Unlike a lot of other markets, TVM provides an authentic local market experience that is unparalleled. I sold my first bikini at TVM in December of 2012 and since then peony has been invited to show its SS13 collection at at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival and has been featured in Vogue Australia's "What you will be wearing this summer". TVM truly is a fantastic platform for any creative brand. I couldn't recommend it highly enough."
Becky Jack - peony Swimwear

"I owe a great deal of my success to TVM!
There really was no better place for me to start out and get my name out there. It is such a beautiful community of insanely talented creatives. The support you receive from not only the customers but from the other stall holders is like no other and it always felt like family to be there with everyone. From day one I felt entirely lifted and inspired by the TVM team, they believed in me and gave me the chance I needed. TVM grew my business in more ways than just selling my products, opportunities came through meeting so many amazing customers and high profile bloggers who appreciated local design. The feedback you gain from the diverse amount of people viewing your designs up close and personal was invaluable. That allowed me to learn what my customers loved and wanted to see more of. I am forever grateful to Marissa and Sarah for giving me a start. And also so grateful for all the creatives I met there who encouraged me with my crazy, out there designs as they are what Grace Bijoux is so known for now! Thanks TVM, for everything! xxx"
Lisa McDonald - Grace Bijoux

“The Village Markets have become such an iconic event on the Gold Coast. I remember going to the first events years ago and now they are an amazing marketplace for start-up fashion designers and for established brands that need a great venue for pop-up sales. I couldn’t think of a better event in Queensland for being able to sell direct to fashion-focused customers.”
Sharona Harris, F+H Jewellery

"Sarah and Marissa run a tight ship! The Village Markets is one of the most professional, well organised, and smoothly run Markets I have had the pleasure to frequent as a stall holder.

My business has definitely benefited greatly by being part of the TVM family. Sarah and Marissa have created the most beautiful market community through their tireless creativity and talent in promotion and marketing. The online systems for stallholders are second to none. Everything has been taking care of down to the last detail and the girls are always ready with a smile to help.

With 11 years of markets under my belt, i am very grateful they make the complete experience so easy and enjoyable."
Kate Hemensley, BandiKoot Byron Bay

TVM and the sense of community you have created within it is priceless, we love and appreciate being apart of it.

For us TVM is not just about selling stuff, it's the support we get from the other stall holders, the friendships we've made, the vibe of market day, the opportunity to collaborate with like minds. You should be so proud of what you've created."
Jacqueline Duemmer, Au Fait

"The Village Markets is a place where passionate, creative and magical lives cross paths. Being a part of this market community has been so uplifting for my growing business and the relationships I am building with fellow market stall holders is just spectacular.

Marissa & Sarah should be extremely proud of what they have created with TVM. TVM has been such a fantastic part of NESST's growth this year. Having a stall is such a beautiful forum to showcase and sell my products the way that I want to. Secondly, the feedback I get from everyone is absolutely vital. Every single time I have been to TVM I have taken away a new learn or celebrated a great achievement.

Thank you TVM for giving NESST the ability to meet so many new faces and to be around such supportive and loving people."
Ness Falzon, NESST

"Thank you for the opportunity to participate in your local market. What an event it was too! You have something quite unique and like no other going on up in Burleigh, show casing some unbelievable talent! The login portal for stall holders was very informative and perfect, everything was covered, if anything you over prepared me (including the last minute dash for Ant Rid), conditions, maps, directions and advice on the retail market. I was interviewed and posted on the village markets website, bringing extra traffic and interest to my stall, I was motivated to put on a show for the Best Looking Stall Award. What made the interstate drive so worth while was every ounce of effort I made was matched by The Village Markets team. Nothing went overlooked. I have been following TVM as my passion for markets and growing my business is important, the stores show cased on social media were design talent I could relate to I took the risk, that paid  off, instantly expanding my brand, growing my database and following. I thank TVM for the contributing effort and help and I look forward to working with the team soon."

Libby Watkins - Sydney based Artist

"Jewellery by Kim (JBK) has been with The Village Markets pretty much from the beginning.  It is an amazing market with emerging designers being able to showcase their creations in the best possible way.  JBK would not be as popular without TVM, people who love my creations keep on coming back not only to see me but to also enjoy the atmosphere that is The Village Markets."
Kim Hurst Jewellery by Kim.
