With unprecedented access to the archives of each city, Coming into Fashion is an exhibition tracking the highlights of this sparkling intersection between photography and fashion. Find out all about cool new TVM homewares stall Arc & Family, plus WIN a gorgeous pot by entering the comp below!

TVM: Tell us how and when your business was created?

A&F: Arc & Family was created after we did some pots for our own home. We couldn’t find any pots here in Brisbane that we wanted so we got our creative minds on and off we went. We love that we can change homes with some colour and plants of course to give some life to any space. Also being parents to a little one it is lovely that we can do our pots from home. We have been doing Arc for about 8 weeks or so.

What does your collection include?

We have a range of sizes of Egg pots which are made from Terracotta. We also do a mini range and a rectangle size.

What inspires your designs?

So many things!! Florals and Pastels always inspire us. We love playing with shapes and new techniques.

What’s on your current mood board?

Florals and lots of homewares… I have an addiction!

How would you describe Arc + Family in five words?

Happy
Creative
Bright
Bold
Vibrant

What’s your creative space like?

COVERED in colour. (All our paints)

What do you listen to whilst designing?

A bit of hiphop goes a long way or the Disney channel when my husband is on the brushes he likes to listen to Triple J!

A day in your life consists of?

Where to start? We have a little one who has just hit 11 months so first up I need my coffee hit. Entertain the pooches (we have a frenchie Zeus and a Shitzue/maltese that love some attention ha!) Making Stencils for new designs and going threw our paint colours! Checking up on Facebook and Instagram. Making sure everyone has been fed and of course more coffees consumed! I do look like a crazy lady to anyone going by as I tend to entertain our little one Noah by dancing around like a weirdo just for his giggles haha.

Favourite TVM Stalls?

We LOVE Au Fait. Everything is so beautiful in this stall.

What can we expect of Arc + Family in the future?

We started Arc & Family as a hobby so we aren’t too sure! We are just happy to take the ride and see what happens. We hope to keep bringing amazing pots with beautiful colours and metalics for years to come.
