The Village Markets x The Borrowed Nursery Potting Workshop

On Sunday the 7th of February 2016, The Borrowed Nursery will be taking their potting workshop on the road, holding a kids potting day with us at The Village Markets.

The workshop will allow kids to select a pot with paints also available to paint their own unique design. The Borrowed Nursery will have a range of succulents and cacti on the day for the kids to pot up with handouts and a little tutorial on how to look after their hand made creation.

They will also have a selection of plants and pots from their sale range on the day available for purchase. While you wait for your pot to dry you can check out the rest of the stalls and grab a bite to eat as well.

Early bird tickets are $15 each, or to pay on the day they are $20 each.

Where: The Village Markets, Burleigh Heads State School - Lower Gold Coast Highway Burleigh Heads
When: Sunday 7 February 2016 8:30am – 1pm

Bright Side Living:
Amy is a passionate yoga teacher who loves bringing this ancient practise to kids in a modern and fun way. Children love to move, the Bright Side Living program incorporates yoga poses with movement, music and play. The classes provide a safe space for children of all ages and abilities to grasp and develop at their own time and pace. Yoga makes kids happy and healthy on a physical, mental and emotional level. Parents and teachers often notice an increase in concentration, discipline and self control, along with an enhanced ability to problem solve and resolve conflict. With a regular practise little yogi’s quickly develop improved self esteem and confidence, and the breath and relaxation work has such positive affects on anxiety, stress and depression. Physically, through yoga, the children develop core strength, balance, coordination, awareness, improved posture, strength and flexibility.

We hope to see you there!
