Covid Safe Markets
We've made changes to our markets to ensure they're safe, including:
- TVM recommends wearing a mask where you cannot socially distance
- COVID contract tracing QR codes on signage at entry points
- Signage promoting social distancing, staying home if you’re unwell and maintain personal hygiene by hand washing
- Alcohol-based hand sanitiser available at 6 locations throughout the market
- All patrons must be seated whilst consuming food. Please BYO your picnic rug.
- Frequently cleaning off high traffic points (seating, toilets and ATM)
- Promotion of contactless payment methods
- Covid Safe measures frequently promoted on all communications
- Event Staff trained in accordance with Safe Work Australia Covid Safe Workplace principles and are supplied with PPE equipment
- Stall Holders and third party contractors made aware and agree to new COVID guidelines in place prior to each event via acceptance of terms when booking which include:
- Supply of an alcohol-based hand sanitiser
- Social distancing where possible
- Contactless payment methods
- Providing details for contact tracing
Once inside the event, we ask you to respect signage, use safe hygiene practices, be kind to yourself and each other by keeping a safe distance and if you are unwell, please stay home and visit us another time.
When visiting TVM, please:
- Do not attend if you're unwell
- Seek assistance if becoming unwell during the event (at the TVM info tent)
- Wash your hands frequently
- Know that maintaining physical distancing requirements is the individuals responsibility
- Do not attend the event if you:
i. You have been in close contact with a person who is positive for COVID-19
ii. You are positive for COVID-19
iii. You have travelled overseas or to a declared COVID-19 Hotspot in the previous 14 days
