On Sunday 2 October we will celebrate 14 years of The Village Markets!
TVM was founded as a love project in 2008 - showcasing local creatives and offering a much-needed cultural injection for the Gold Coast - by founders Marissa Bowden and Sarah Schoeller.
It was soon established as a major tourism drawcard for tens of thousands of domestic and international visitors, has won numerous awards and been named a Best of Queensland Experience for the past two years running.
TVM has been a launchpad for some of the country’s biggest international brands, including peony swimwear, Kivari, Cleopatra’s Bling, Nine Lives Bazaar, YCL Jewellery, Tones & I, Ziggy Alberts and many more.
On Sunday 2 October, The Village Markets 14th Birthday festivities will include our usual iconic boutique market stall line-up – including past success stories returning with pop-up stalls - street food vendors, live music by Matt Hansford and Lily Budiasa and designer pre- loved Rack Sales, as well as a jewellery beading workshop by Sip and Pearl (tickets here), 'kind' kids crafting and information booth by Climate Wave and Southern Beaches Community Garden, and a pop- up bar by Ventura Brewing.
The Sip & Pearl jewellery workshops by Shell and Thread will take place at various times throughout the day and tickets are available to purchase, here.
Fitness entrepreneur and TVM regular Revie Jane will be popping up for the day with discounted merchandise and meet and greets.
Lock the date in your diaries, gather your besties and we will see you there!!
