OUR SPEAKERS

SHARONA HARRIS - F+H JEWELLERY

Former Marketing and PR for Oscar Oscar Salons (for ten years), Sharona Harris launched her business in 2014 on the Gold Coast after seeing a gap in the market for tough-luxe jewellery and wanting to create her own business.

Harris has most certainly carved a niche in a saturated market and the brand which is now seen as one of Australia’s most loved fashion jewellery brands, is worn by the likes of Margot Robbie, Isabel Lucas, Jessica Gomes, Margaret Zhang and Lara Worthington to name a few.

As an entrepreneur, Harris is also making waves having been voted 2016 Australian Fashion Designer of the Year by Cosmopolitan magazine and appearing on countless international fashion and lifestyle websites.

KIRSTEN BECK - MOLLY & POLLY

Having grown up in Far North Queensland with the Great Barrier Reef as her playground, it’s no surprise Kirsten Beck was inspired by the ocean and travel when launching her own business in the form of cult swimwear label, Molly and Polly in 2012 at just 21 years of age.

Taking the plunge and launching her own brand in 2012 with a stall at The Village Markets has proved to be the best decision Beck has made, with the label shipped internationally daily, boasting an online community of over 200,000, worn by celebs such as Tash Oakley, Ariana Grande, Lena Perminova, Alli Simpson to name a few and appearing in Vogue Espana, Vogue Italia, Elle Australia, Vogue Australia and Grazia magazines.

Molly and Polly has also been featured by world trend forecaster WGSN and is retailed by international stockists City Beach and Princess Polly.

KENDRA MILLER - SHERLEY

With a wealth of knowledge in the fashion industry having worked at Billabong for nine years where she worked her way up the ranks to Senior Buyer, with a prior six-year stint at Surf Dive N Ski, it was only a matter of time before Kendra Miller-Sherley took the entrepreneurial leap of faith and launched her own business.

With a vision in mind and samples underway, it was four years of planning before the opportunity to spend more time with her two babies won out and Sweet Child Of Mine was launched in 2012, with a stall at The Village Markets.

With clients such as the Jolie-Pitt kids, it’s no doubt this label has carved it’s own niche in the popular childrenswear clothing market. However, with six staff and a strong wholesale network, Miller-Sherley insists remaining a permanent fixture at each TVM event is an essential part of her business.
